1000!

We have hit the 1000 mark for records entered into our database! The collection is really shaping up as Mindy and I continue to build upon the established framework for the project. Each record is making the collection more useable, searchable and easier to browse!

Carnegie Cataloging 3rd Gen

Ciprian showed me the ropes back in January and Mindy V. is back on board to help keep the project on track. We are in "workhorse" mode: progressing through the yellow coded (identified, but not yet entered) books and labeling and shelving blue coded (entered, but not yet labeled) at a steady pace. It's very satisfying to see those completed books shelved and ready for use!

We have also made a sample set of 25 records to test the crosswalks between KeEMU and our homegrown database set up by previous project interns. I will be posting news about the test run here, so stay tuned.
